Retrofitting Existing Appliances

Fitting a new crown to the existing partial or nightguard is not uncommon since it makes no sense to make a completely new appliance just because of a new crown. Retrofitting is a tedious process as we fabricate the new crown to optimal functionality while preserving the appliance’s existing conditions.

Please remember that we can only use CAD/CAM zirconia material for digital files. If you prefer other materials, such as a full gold crown, porcelain fused to metal, zirconia layered crown, or e.max layered crown, please send PVS appliance pick-up impressions. If you need additional information or have questions, please contact us.

  • The photos enclosed show the anterior tooth you just did for me. The single match; the most difficult cosmetic case in dentistry. This picture was taken immediately after the temp was removed no waiting time for any tissue healing. Which one of the anteriors is the crown? No cheating by looking up his case.
